I got the Vista Beta 2 version running using the VS runtime modue and it works well. (Though there is some infrequent skipping in the picture and audio even with a strong signal station. My notebook is a little underpowered I think)
Then I checked for windows updates and found a Trident USB ATSC audio driver for my system on the MS web site. I thought that it might help but it breaks WatchHDTV completly.
I had to rollback the driver to the original Geniatech driver to get it to work again.
I didn't try VistaMC with the new driver but WatchHDTV definatly didn't work with the Trident driver on the Geniatech U6010A USB receiver.

UPDATE - I forgot to run the Settings utility. The device name had changed. When I thought about it I downloaded the new driver again and ran the utility. Trident USB ATSC driver works just the same as the original so far. Was: Tuner=Digital TV Now: Tuner=U6000 DTV Tuner
I'll let you know if I notice any performance difference.
Has anyone figured out an optimal Decoder selection for the Geniatech U6010A USB for reducing system CPU usage?
